Tata unveiled Tata Neu, a super app that will compete with Amazon, Paytm, and others. Both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store have the app available for download. Despite the fact that the new super app offers a wide range of services, including travel booking, UPI payments, and more, it didn’t get off to a great start.
Tata was probably not expecting such a positive response. As a result, people rushed to try out the Neu app as soon as it was released, however many ran into troubles with OTP, UPI, and other features. We also attempted to utilise the Neu app to access UPI but were unable to do so due to an OTP issue. The app would frequently shut down without warning.
On iOS, we were only able to download the software after the seventh attempt. On the third attempt, we received the OTP at the moment of login. Several users also resorted to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction with the app’s accessibility.
Of course, these problems arose as a result of the unexpectedly high demand, which no doubt surprised even the corporation. Tata Neu has been downloaded over 1 million times on Android. Apple’s Software Store also has a free version of the app. The company had to put the signup process on hold for a while on Thursday due to the high demand.
